Your life and your business results are yours to create. You are the painter, painting your masterpiece every day. What are the images you want to appear? How much color do you want to use? Is it dark or full of light? What is the size of this masterpiece? Who is in it? How does it feel when you stand back and have a good look at it?

The biggest gap we have to bridge in our lives is from who we are right now to who we are destined to become. That gap of ‘becoming your full self’ is in your hands. It is created every day by the choices that you make and the actions that you take. In other words, your destiny is on your hands and every day you are charged with the power to step into it and develop it. Will you? The seed is planted, it was there at birth, and you are here for a reason. What is it? That reason is for you to discover. Your purpose is calling you and it is your responsibility to find it.

Of all the principles of success, the creation of vision is the simplest yet a lot of leaders have failed to make it a reality. I don’t mean the achievement of goals. What I mean is the attainment of what you really want, long term. According to Warren Bennis, “Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.” All of us are the Leaders of our own lives. We start with hope and enthusiasm to fulfill our dreams and we end up celebrating success that was not part of our vision. The good and the bad!

A sense of purpose is important, if not the most important thing to know for a person to achieve their potential. It fills the person’s life with meaning so that it is meaning-full. When a person has a deep sense of meaning in their life, they are engaged, motivated, high performers. For an individual to discover their purpose, what they are all about, can be life changing, supporting them in being all they can be.
