Serving others by influencing them to achieve their goals through investing in your product is ethical sales.
Selling is perceived by so many people as a dirty word because sales people who tend to push what they want to happen onto their clients show they just don’t care. This gives sales a bad name.
To influence you have to genuinely care about solving people’s problems and discovering what they really want. It is not about you, it is all about them, a selfless, service attitude is what the best influencers have.
People feel it if you don’t care. How can you build trust with people if they know you don’t genuinely care. No trust no relationship. Influencing skills is probably the most important skill for any leader or person to learn because it supports the creation of dreams and lives well lived.
“We are created to serve others and make the world a better place and in doing so we make our world a better place.”
We are all influencing each other, it is part of life. When you help others to achieve their dreams and get what they really want in life, ethically, then there is an exchange of energy on that through the law of reciprocity that returns to you in abundance.
Connect with people, show you care by asking great questions. The type of questions that when answered help you to learn about that person’s challenges, fears, pain and what keeps them up at night as well as what their dreams are, their needs and goals.
Do this with your family, your colleagues, parents, everyone you know. Listen deeply, be present, and take them on a journey from where they are to where they want to be. Help them get what they want!
We are created to serve others and make the world a better place and in doing so we make our world a better place. The secret to living is giving. Step outside of yourself and what you need and focus on contributing. Then see how you feel and what you can achieve!
